Why This Site Exists
Florida law makes many government records open to inspection, but those records do not all sit in one system. Volusia County Corrections creates and maintains jail booking records and photographs through its public-access portal. The Clerk of the Circuit Court publishes daily arrest files and maintains the court docket that shows what happened after booking. The Florida Department of Corrections has a separate offender search for people serving state prison sentences. VSO Central Records handles reports created by the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office. This site organizes those official routes, explains what each source can show, and identifies the request path when an online search is not enough.
